Grilled Pizza Recipe

Makes 4 10-12-inch pizzas

Vegetable oil for grates 1 28-oz. can whole peeled tomatoes, drained, crushed, and drained again 2 lbs. prepared pizza dough, room temperature, divided into 4 pieces (find our favorite Instant Pot pizza dough recipe here, or make our master pizza dough recipe instead) Olive oil, for brushing and drizzling Kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper 1 lb. fresh mozzarella Torn fresh basil leaves Crushed red pepper flakes

Working with one piece of dough at a time, gently stretch or roll each piece to a 10 to 12-inch round (it doesn’t need to be perfect, so a little oval or square is OK). Place round on a baking sheet, brush both sides with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Grill, undisturbed, until bubbles appear on the surface of the dough, about 2 minutes.
